Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing all aspects of the accounts receivable process. This role will involve ensuring timely collections, analyzing receivables data, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end to end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment collection, and account reconciliation.
- Monitor and analyze receivables data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial reports related to accounts receivable activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of payments and adjustments.
- Conduct credit checks and evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
- Collaborate with customers to resolve billing issues, discrepancies, and payment delays.
- Assist in month end and yearend closing processes, ensuring all AR related tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Participate in the implementation of new systems or processes related to accounts receivable.
- Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
