Position Summary:
A company in the Financial Services space is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position will work closely with upper management and oversee all general accounting fucntions within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (or IFRS, if applicable).
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to management and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
- 4+ years of experience
- CPA or MBA is a plus
