Position Overview: A private-equity backed education group is seeking an experience financial analyst to join their growing team. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of the company, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring that financial operations align with our growth objectives. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and the finance team to provide detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, as well as assist in managing financial modeling and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with company goals. Analyze variances, trends, and key financial drivers to provide insights into business performance.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Conduct budgeting and forecasting procedures for assigned portfolio, working closely with department heads to ensure financial targets are aligned with strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain detailed financial models for short- and long-term projections.

  • Cost Management & Optimization: Analyze cost structures across the business and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies, working with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives.

  • Strategic Financial Support: Partner with senior leadership to provide financial support for various strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes, improve financial systems, and implement best practices in financial management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or another relative field.

  • 2+ years of applicable experience; advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
