Summary:
A Bank is seeking a Credit Specialist to join their team. This position will work with a team to support the bank's lending activities.
Responsibilities:
Analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and industry trends to assess borrower risk.
Prepare written credit memorandums and risk assessments for loan approvals or renewals.
Work closely with Relationship Managers, Loan Officers, and Senior Credit Officers to structure credit facilities.
Monitor existing credit accounts for performance trends and covenant compliance.
Recommend appropriate credit limits and terms based on risk analysis.
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in committee meetings and present credit findings when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field
- Previous credit analysis experience
- Software experience is a plus
