A well-established financial services firm is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their accounting and finance function. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large data sets, managing complex variables, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization. This position plays a key role in financial reporting, expense analysis, and data workflow management, with regular interaction across all areas of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends and deliver timely, accurate reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc)

  • Perform general and administrative (G&A) expense analysis and reporting

  • Maintain and optimize data workflows, ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial information

  • Support fund-level financial analysis, including advisor fee tracking and back-office expense assessments

  • Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams to provide data-driven insights and ensure alignment on key metrics

  • Develop and maintain Excel models and reporting tools to support decision-making

  • Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • 1+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a data-intensive finance role

  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling

  • Experience with financial systems, databases, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to manage multiple moving variables and deadlines in a dynamic environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
