Role Overview:

A well-established financial services company is seeking a finance associate to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational background in accounting and a strong interest in working with financial data to gain exposure across a wide range of finance functions.

The ideal candidate is curious, organized, and comfortable working with large datasets, with a strong command of Excel and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and manage large financial data sets to identify trends and variances.

• Prepare recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.

• Support ad hoc reporting and data requests across the finance team.

• Conduct analyses related to:

  • G&A expenses

  • Fund-level activity

  • Advisor fee structures

  • Back-office and operational expenses

• Maintain and enhance existing financial data workflows and reporting tools.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other finance and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Assist with ongoing improvements to financial reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Accounting preferred).

• 1+ years of experience in an accounting, financial analyst, or data reporting role.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dynamic formulas, etc.).

• Comfortable working with evolving and variable data sets.

• Solid analytical skills with a high attention to detail.

• Effective communicator, able to collaborate with a range of stakeholders across finance.

• Familiarity with financial systems, databases, or BI tools a plus (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
