Overview:
A global manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day financial reporting and consolidations efforts. This role will be responsible for managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP/IFRS, and overseeing the consolidation of multiple international entities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to streamline processes in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.

  • Lead the global consolidation process across multiple international subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (and/or IFRS) and internal accounting policies, including proper application of technical accounting guidance.

  • Partner with regional finance teams to gather and review entity-level results, resolve discrepancies, and ensure alignment with corporate reporting requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and ensuring proper documentation.

  • Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiencies within the reporting and consolidation functions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, and Treasury to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data.

  • Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including consolidations and financial reporting in a global company environment.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (IFRS experience a plus).

  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Hyperion, etc.).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
