About the Role:
A multibillion-dollar company is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their FP&A function. This is not a traditional FP&A role- as a Senior Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to support the business through analytics, field coordination, and reporting in an evolving finance environment. This is a highly visible role with direct access to field leadership, operations teams, and senior finance leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for key business units
Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for field leadership and senior executives
Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, and Accounting to evaluate performance and drive business decisions
Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Utilize analytic tools to streamline data extraction and improve financial reporting
Play an integral role in the company's finance transformation, helping implement new tools, systems, and processes to modernize the function
Identify areas of operational inefficiency and support the development of financial models and KPIs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a business analytics role
Strong systems skills, with hands-on experience using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or comparable platforms
Advanced Excel modeling skills; experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems preferred
Proven ability to influence and partner cross-functionally across corporate and field teams
Experience supporting a business going through process or system transformation is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into executive-level narratives
