Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join our corporate finance team. This role is instrumental in preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP/IFRS and internal reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial consolidations, technical accounting, and reporting for multinational operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
Support the global consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations
Perform analytical reviews of financial results and investigate variances
Partner with regional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data submission
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of financial reporting systems (e.g., HFM, OneStream, SAP BPC)
Participate in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors
Monitor and apply relevant changes to accounting standards and help assess their impact on the business
Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
4+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting; experience in a global or public company setting preferred
Strong understanding of consolidation accounting, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency translation
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
Proficient in Excel and experience with ERP/consolidation systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Effective communicator and collaborator across global teams
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector
Familiarity with internal controls (SOX) and corporate governance practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
