Overview:
A global manufacturing leader is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing financial reporting team. This position will play a critical role in the company's consolidations and external reporting function, supporting a complex, multinational business. The role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting expertise who is eager to contribute to a dynamic and evolving finance organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP/IFRS standards.
Support the global financial close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations.
Assist in preparing regulatory filings and other reporting deliverables for stakeholders.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting, ensuring compliance with SOX or similar requirements.
Partner with regional and international finance teams to resolve accounting and reporting matters.
Collaborate with external auditors by preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including process improvements, system upgrades, and reporting efficiencies.
Stay current on developments in accounting standards and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA (or progress toward CPA) strongly preferred.
4+ years of accounting experience, ideally from public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) and/or a corporate accounting environment with consolidation exposure.
Strong knowledge of financial statement consolidations, US GAAP, and IFRS.
Experience with ERP and consolidation systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, OneStream, or similar).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
