Role Overview:

A well-established real estate firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role offers exposure to a dynamic portfolio of commercial properties and the chance to grow within a company known for its strong leadership, employee-centric culture, and long-term stability.

This position is ideal for an entry-level or early-career accounting professional who is intellectually curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for assigned properties.

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, profit & loss analysis, and variance reviews.

  • Support the finance team in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and recovery calculations.

  • Assist with property-level accounting for tenant billings, common area maintenance, and expense reconciliations.

  • Participate in special projects, process improvements, and system enhancements as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; Finance or related business degree considered.

  • 0+ years of accounting experience, internship experience is highly preferred

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.

  • Strong Excel skills and general systems aptitude.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn from experienced mentors.
