Pricing Analyst - Financial Services
A well-established and growing financial services company is looking to add a Pricing Analyst to their team. This position plays a key role in helping senior leadership make data-driven decisions related to product performance, pricing, and market strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical foundation, comfort working with large datasets, and an interest in understanding how pricing and market trends influence financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze trends across the lending industry, including product pricing, volume, and market share activity.
Conduct competitive research and summarize key findings to help guide business strategy.
Evaluate performance patterns and create clear, data-driven reports and visualizations to compare actual results versus expectations.
Assess the financial impact of new business strategies using internal models, databases, and analytical tools.
Build and maintain accurate and insightful spreadsheet analyses, financial models, and presentation materials to support management decisions.
Stay informed on industry trends in risk analytics, credit assessment, and financial modeling.
Contribute to cross-functional projects supporting broader business goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
2+ years of data analysis experience preferably in financial services or related spaces.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with demonstrated experience in execution analysis, pricing, and financial modeling.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear and impactful presentations.
Working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, or other analytical tools is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
