Summary:
A global manufacturing company is looking to add an accountant to their team. This position will support the company's North American business operations, working closely with both local and international accounting teams. The role will focus on general ledger management, account reconciliations, and preparation of internal financial statements, while also assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the monthly close process for multiple entities within the Americas region.

  • Maintain accurate supporting documentation for balance sheet and income statement accounts.

  • Review accounting transactions for accuracy and investigate variances or discrepancies.

  • Assist in preparing internal financial statements and monthly management reporting packages.

  • Support the consolidation of regional financial results and related analysis.

  • Collaborate with external auditors and third-party accounting firms to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and local reporting requirements.

  • Provide support for tax, regulatory, and statutory filings as needed.

  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting cycles, including variance analysis and cost reviews.

  • Support internal control documentation and continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Assist with ad hoc projects and financial analyses as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 1-2+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, ideally within a manufacturing or international business environment.

  • CPA or equivalent certification (or progress toward) preferred.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with multi-entity accounting.

  • Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems (any major platform).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Intermediate Excel proficiency and solid understanding of Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
