Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations across revenue accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting

  • Ensure timely and accurate billing, cash applications, collections, and vendor payments

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP

  • Manage revenue recognition for complex, multi-stream revenue models

  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies

  • Partner closely with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and analysis

  • Prepare and present financial statements and management reporting for leadership

  • Serve as a hands-on leader-both managing and executing accounting activities as needed

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team

  • Oversee enhancements to financial systems and integrations with operational tools

  • Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen financial operations and support business growth


Qualifications

  • CPA or MBA required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting teams

  • Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition (ASC 606)

  • Proven ability to lead AR, AP, and revenue accounting in a dynamic, high-growth environment

  • Demonstrated hands-on approach with both leadership and execution responsibilities

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and partner across the business
