About the Opportunity

A well‑established law firm in Center City Philadelphia is seeking an experienced tax professional to join its growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys providing high‑touch service to sophisticated clients. You will work directly with senior leadership on complex tax matters involving high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts, estates, and related entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts, estates, and closely held entities.
  • Assist with tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes across individual, fiduciary, and estate tax areas.
  • Support tax provision and compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all regulatory standards.
  • Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and high‑quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with partners and internal teams to support client engagements and special projects.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant tax experience within public accounting or a law firm environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of high‑net‑worth, trust, and estate tax.
  • Experience with tax compliance, planning, and multi‑state considerations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client‑service mindset.
  • CPA, EA, or progress toward certification is a plus but not required.
