Senior Accountant- Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting
A global industry-leading, publicly traded organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting team. This role plays a key part in monthly and quarterly close activities and supports both U.S. and international reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly and quarterly journal entries, accruals, and related analyses
Support close activities in partnership with a shared services team
Assist with financial reporting packages for corporate leadership (U.S. GAAP & IFRS)
Serve as a point of contact for accounting matters across multiple business units
Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Audit, and Legal
Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies
Participate in process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and special projects
Provide guidance and informal oversight to staff‑level accountants
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
4+ years of progressive accounting and/or financial reporting experience
- Public accounting background or experience supporting a large multinational organization
Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting processes
Advanced analytical skills and ability to manage complex data
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
Experience working in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment
ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills
