Senior Accountant- Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting

A global industry-leading, publicly traded organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting team. This role plays a key part in monthly and quarterly close activities and supports both U.S. and international reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly journal entries, accruals, and related analyses

  • Support close activities in partnership with a shared services team

  • Assist with financial reporting packages for corporate leadership (U.S. GAAP & IFRS)

  • Serve as a point of contact for accounting matters across multiple business units

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Audit, and Legal

  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and special projects

  • Provide guidance and informal oversight to staff‑level accountants

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • 4+ years of progressive accounting and/or financial reporting experience

  • Public accounting background or experience supporting a large multinational organization
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting processes

  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to manage complex data

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally

  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment

  • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)

  • Advanced Excel skills
