Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing key accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of the company's financial data and providing insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow analyses.
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Review and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and payroll entries.
Assist with external audits and provide supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
