Our client located near Southlake, Texas is looking for an experinenced accounting specialist to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and report payments accurately in QuickBooks
- Manage travel expenses, invoices, and ensure proper payment deposits
- Review and reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to 1099 contractors
- Update ACH payment batches and support electronic banking processes
- Participate in special accounting projects as needed
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and ask the right questions to drive solutions
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
- Experience managing AR, AP, travel expenses, and invoices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
