**Hybrid - 3 days in office downtown Washington DC**

Job Duties

• Lead complex client billing and account analysis, including preparation of detailed invoices and financial documentation.
• Monitor outstanding balances, proactively address billing issues, and collaborate with partners and business services to ensure timely collections.

• Train, mentor, and provide leadership to Client Accounting Assistants and Coordinators; act as point of contact in supervisor's absence.

• Coordinate department workflow, identify problems, and develop creative solutions aligned with departmental goals.
• Maintain up-to-date client and partner files, ensuring compliance with firm policies and best practices.
• Collaborate across teams to support firm-wide client accounting goals and contribute to continuous improvement of billing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 5+ years of legal billing and account analysis experience, preferably within a large law firm.
• Proficiency with legal accounting systems such as Aderant, Elite, or 3E; strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset.
• Proven ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and use sound judgment in handling sensitive matters.
