Beacon Hill Finnancial is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Payable Supervisor to support the AP team's daily operations. This role will assist in overseeing the full-cycle AP process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while providing leadership support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Support the Accounts Payable Manager in overseeing the AP team's workflow, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Help implement and maintain Accounts Payable policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
  • Monitor AP aging reports, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, resolve payment discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist with audits and compliance reporting as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the AP function.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Experience with processing invoices for multiple entities.
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, GAAP, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in AP automation systems and ERP software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and support team leadership.
