We are excited to announce an opportunity to join a prestigious, internationally ranked law firm as a Senior Accountant. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting, this role offers a hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the office and a competitive salary of up to $115K.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage partner payments, including active partner draw, retired partner payments, special distributions, and expatriate benefits
Reconcile and analyze equity accounts within the general ledger
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, preparing necessary journal entries
Prepare journal entries for the annual equity close-out
Keep partner data (demographics, tax elections, etc.) up to date
Assist with fixed asset accounting, including asset recording, journal entries, and monthly reconciliations
Support the global year-end audit by preparing equity schedules
Contribute to improving existing processes and updating departmental procedures
Take on additional special projects as needed
