Seeking a Hospitality Asset Manager for a leading real estate investment firm managing a diverse portfolio of hotel properties.
The Hospitality Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of assigned hotel assets, with a focus on maximizing profitability, enhancing asset value, and supporting long-term strategic objectives. This role requires strong financial acumen, in-depth knowledge of hotel operations, and the ability to collaborate with property teams and stakeholders to drive performance improvements. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, analytical, and experienced in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of hotel assets, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue, profitability, and asset value.
Conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue management.
Participate in weekly revenue calls and provide oversight on forecast accuracy and performance drivers.
Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management and ownership.
Approve and manage annual budgets to ensure alignment with investor return objectives.
Collaborate with hotel management teams to support operational efficiency and service quality.
Conduct regular property inspections to evaluate standards, identify opportunities, and ensure alignment with brand and ownership expectations.
Lead the planning and execution of capital expenditure projects and renovations.
Perform property valuations and market assessments to identify growth opportunities and support investment decisions.
Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to guide asset strategy and investment planning.
Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and brand standards.
Serve as a liaison between property owners, operators, and other stakeholders, providing clear communication on asset performance and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in hospitality asset management or a comparable senior management role in the hotel industry.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a deep understanding of hotel financial statements.
Proven ability to drive performance and enhance asset value through strategic oversight.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools, asset management systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Willingness to travel as needed for property visits and meetings.
