Overview:
We're currently partnering with a well-established national infrastructure services firm to identify a Staff Accountant II with strong general ledger, reporting, and month-end close experience. This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of accounting experience who is ready to step into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with long-term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Maintain general ledger accounts and assist in ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between production systems and the general ledger
- Perform detailed account analysis and explain significant variances or unusual activity
- Review journal entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting policies
- Run and validate P&L reports for regional field operations
- Prepare and validate data for monthly reporting packages
- Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill data requests and ad hoc reports
- Assist with quarterly and annual reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with general ledger systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and large data sets with accuracy
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments
