PAYROLL MANAGER: DETAILS
Title: Payroll Manager
Location: Goodlettsville TN
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: Total Comp: $99,750 ($95k/year + 5% Bonus)
Type: Direct Hire
Hours: Standard Business Hours | Monday-Friday | 40 hours

REQUIREMENTS: PAYROLL MANAGER
* 6+ years of recent payroll experience
* Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
* 3+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience
* Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of payroll, tax, and garnishment laws required.
* Technical payroll tax, and garnishment processing skills.
* Payroll responsibilities primarily with more than 75,000 employees.
* Multi-state experience (including California and Northeast United States) experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: PAYROLL MANAGER
* Directs the day-to-day operations of payroll processing to ensure timely payment of all employees.
* Manages all aspects including reviewing and reconciling payroll activity, monitoring the electronic pay program, managing the termination pay process, and administering electronic pay stubs.
* Directs the day-to-day operations of payroll support to ensure timely resolution of all employee, manager, or other payroll inquiries.
* Works closely with HR teams to resolve escalated inquiries in a timely manner.
* Manages all aspects including evaluating telephone and email statistics, managing resource requirements, and ensuring appropriate customer service.
* Assists in the testing and completion of required updates to legacy payroll systems to ensure successful implementation and desired results while keeping management team informed of new system set up or changes in the legacy system that will need to be considered and included in the new HCM system.
* Performs other relevant duties as required to ensure successful continued operations of Payroll.
