Director of Billing (Hybrid) - Cleveland, OH
Hybrid | Downtown Cleveland

We're seeking a strategic, experienced Director of Billing to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced law firm environment. This hybrid role is key to optimizing our billing and receivables operations while supporting firmwide financial health and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead billing and collections operations, ensuring compliance with firm policies
Develop scalable processes that align with firm growth and improve efficiency
Analyze receivables, assess risk, and create collection strategies
Drive exceptional internal and external service across billing functions
Advance tech adoption, including practice management platform implementation
Partner with firm leadership to deliver key financial insights
Oversee and support Billing, e-Billing, and Collections team performance and development
Foster a culture of responsiveness, accountability, and professionalism

What You Bring

10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in a finance leadership role
Professional services or legal industry background strongly preferred
Proficient in Elite or Aderant, and advanced in Microsoft Excel
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Strong leadership, communication, and process improvement skills
High level of integrity, discretion, and sound judgment
