Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting to join a fast-growing, publicly traded global company. This role is part of a collaborative, career-focused finance team supporting the company's rapid expansion, including M&A activity and new business ventures.
Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, this position offers a rare balance of technical accounting and SEC reporting exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and assist with SEC filings including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and the Annual Report.
Ensure compliance with SEC, FASB, and exchange rules and regulations.
Support and/or lead technical accounting research on new accounting standards; draft position papers.
Assist in preparing monthly journal entries, revenue recognition analysis
Contribute to consolidated financial statements, including cash flow and equity reporting.
Support M&A activities, valuations, and special projects with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
Partner with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews.
Assist with system enhancements and implementations, including OneStream and Sage.
Participate in process improvement, internal controls, and policy development initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA progress strongly preferred).
3-4 years of experience in Big 4/public accounting or corporate SEC reporting.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP and reporting tools a plus (OneStream, Sage Enterprise).
