Investor Relations Associate - Investment Manager
Boston, MA | Hybrid

About the role
Our client, a Boston-based global investment manager, is hiring an Investor Relations Associate to support client service and investor operations. You'll partner with internal teams and external providers to deliver accurate, timely communications, reporting, and account administration.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders (IR coverage, Compliance, Legal, Tax, Finance, Operations, Onboarding, fund administrator) to ensure high-quality client service.

  • Coordinate investor transactions and related workflows.

  • Monitor high-volume inboxes and route/resolve inquiries.

  • Track and deliver client reporting against tight deadlines.

  • Maintain investor account information on the investor portal.

  • Maintain and update process documentation.

  • Enter and maintain client data in CRM (e.g., Salesforce).

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented with a strong client-service mindset.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working with investors and cross-functional teams.

  • Self-starter with solid project management and follow-through.

  • Able to multitask and shift priorities under deadlines.

  • Discretion handling confidential information.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); Salesforce experience preferred.

  • Team player with a "no task too small" approach.

  • 1-2+ years in a client-facing role at an investment firm or financial services administrator preferred.
