Union Reporting Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Union Reporting Specialist to join a growing construction company located in Akron, OH. This role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reporting for multiple unions, while also driving efficiency and collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and distribute high-volume reporting for multiple unions with accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations related to union reporting.
Conduct regular audits and verifications of reporting data to maintain accuracy and integrity.
Partner with management to identify and implement process improvements that reduce costs, errors, duplication, and rework.
Collaborate with colleagues to clarify updates, resolve discrepancies, and maintain consistent communication.
Build strong cross-departmental relationships to support teams that rely on your reporting.
Monitor reporting deadlines, upcoming changes, and proactively communicate delays or complex issues to department managers.
Support and complete union audits, ensuring compliance with contracts and standards.
Interpret and advise on union contracts as needed.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High attention to detail with proven experience managing high-volume data/reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with managers and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
Previous experience with union reporting or payroll compliance a huge plus.
- Strong contract management, contract negotiations, reviews and processes
