JOB DESCRIPTION
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST: DETAILS
Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Atlanta GA
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $23-29/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | 8a-5pm | 40 hours per week
Type: Contract for 6 months
Openings: 3

REQUIREMENTS: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
* 3+ years of recent AP experience
* Knowledge and ability to place a high emphasis and maintain controls surrounding financial reporting as pertains to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures)
* Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to tabulate statistical data and compile necessary reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
* Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
* Match invoices with purchase orders, where applicable, and evidence of receipt of goods or services.
* Responsible for all accounting work associated with processing accounts payable
* Assists in monthly closings
* Answers all vendor inquiries
* Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks
* Balances and maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files
