About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our accounting team in a growing real estate company. With 140 properties currently under management and plans to expand to 200 by year-end, this role will be integral to ensuring accurate and efficient day-to-day accounting. You will support the team while leadership focuses on Yardi automation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bookkeeping functions including general ledger entries, debits, and credits
• Process accounts receivable and expenses
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Assist with financial reporting as needed
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure smooth operations during growth and system transitions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger, debits/credits, and reconciliations
• Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of transactions
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week, onsite)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Yardi software
• Background in real estate accounting
