Beacon Hill Financial is working with a non-profit in Queens to bring a Staff Accountant to their team. The Staff Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting functions, prepare and reconcile grant-related transactions, and support audits to maintain transparency and accountability. Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Prepare and submit invoices and billings for government and private grants/contracts.
Monitor and analyze budget variances; recommend corrective actions as needed.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Assist with payroll allocations and grant reporting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.
