Beacon Hill Financial is working with a company in Irvington, NY to bring a Senior Accountant to their team. This role will manage the general ledger, oversee month-end and year-end close processes, and optimize accounting workflows within NetSuite. Onsite work in Irvington is required. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems, ensuring proper configuration, data integrity, and workflow efficiency.
- Prepare, analyze, and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Support billing, revenue recognition, and accounts payable processes.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve reporting and forecasting through ERP and integrated systems.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
