We're excited to share an exceptional consulting opportunity with a dynamic company in Seattle! This is a contract role for a Senior Accountant or Controller who thrives as a hands-on individual contributor and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to keep accounting accurate, timely, and compliant. This client of ours needs help NOW, someone at that Senior Accountant through to Controller level, who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to ensure proper and up to date accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and adjusting entries
- Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare for audits and collaborate with external auditors
- Ensure proper accounting practices are maintained across all tasks
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant or Controller
- Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Consulting mindset: adaptable, proactive, and ready to contribute immediately
