Staff Accountant - Maryland

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts regularly

• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and the preparation of financial schedules

• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing accurate financial data and variance analysis

• Maintain and update fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and related documentation

• Prepare documentation and respond to audit inquiries in coordination with external auditors

• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
