Beacon Hill Financial is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract to hire role in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Enter invoice data into the accounting system
- Prepare and issue payments to vendors, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing accounts payable reports.
- Assist with audits by providing requested accounts payable documentation and records.
