Our client in the North Dallas area is seeking a Controller to join their Accounting Department!
The Controller will have experience in the following.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Lead the month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate results
- Prepare and maintain internal and external financial reports
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the general ledger
- Coordinate multi-state sales tax compliance and filings
- Support audit activities and contribute to ongoing audit readiness initiatives
Requirements:
- Background in distribution, inventory, or manufacturing environments is required
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) is required
