Our client is looking for an Interim Finance Manager to assist on a 4-6 month contract basis.

Requirements Include:

• Manufacturing industry and cost accounting experience is a must

• Lead a 12-person finance department split into general accounting and cost accounting.

• SAP S/4HANA a HUGE PLUS

• PowerBI Palantir a HUGE PLUS

• High-level communication skills, including ability to translate complex issues for executive decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Communication Liaison between F&A and Company President

• Month-End and Accounting Operational Support

• Support the month-end close process by reviewing results, identifying variances, and ensuring unresolved items are escalated.

• Push for timely resolution of vendor/customer setups, credit/return reviews, and duplicate or late invoice issues.

• Collaborate with cost accounting to assess financial impacts of production delays, tariffs, and operational changes.

• Support implementation and handles reconciliations of a new financial dashboard during month-end close.

• Communicate summaries and recommendations to the President for ad-hoc issues.
