Our client in the Dallas area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Accounting Team!
The Staff Accountant will have experience in the following.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and maintain financial records
- Assist and perform all necessary month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for operating, payroll, and other cash accounts
- Support treasury functions such as cash positioning and short-term cash forecasting
- Prepare monthly cash-basis financial reports
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
- 1+ years of accountant experience
