Accounts Receivable Specialist - Washington, DC
Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a well-established organization in Washington, DC to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, managing incoming payments, generating invoices, and supporting healthy cash flow through effective collections. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue customer invoices in accordance with contract terms.
Track outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments via phone and email.
Post incoming payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) accurately to customer accounts.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and unapplied cash.
Maintain accurate AR records, including reconciliations and aging reports.
Work with internal teams and external clients to address payment issues and ensure proper account handling.
