Accounting Manager - Baltimore, MD

Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a repeat client in Baltimore, MD in the search for an Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This position will oversee key accounting operations, manage a small team, and ensure accuracy and compliance across various financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in GAAP, strong leadership skills, and experience managing accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide daily oversight for the Accounts Payable team, Accounting Coordinator, and Accounting Specialist.
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Review and approve corporate credit card transactions, ensuring proper documentation, coding, and policy compliance.
• Cash & Investment Monitoring: Track daily cash balances, recommend fund transfers, and coordinate with banking and investment partners regarding service agreements and fees.
• Review and post journal entries for accruals, asset management, expense allocations, and other general ledger activities.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations for key accounts including cash, payables, and debt.
