Our client in the DFW area is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their Accounting Team!
The Payroll Specialist will have experience in the following.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Process multi-state payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees
- Assist with setting up payroll-related accounts at the state level, including tax withholding and unemployment
- Support the cleanup and closure of inactive or unnecessary payroll accounts
- Track and update State Employer Identification Numbers (SEINs)
- Help maintain payroll accounts across multiple states and business entities
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) is preferred
- Proficiency with ExponentHR is preferred
