Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a healthcare management client in the search for a Staff Accountant to support financial operations. The Staff Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting and will play a key role in financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting. This position is based in the client's corporate office, with on-site work required for the first 90 days, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting for 7 to 9 assigned healthcare facilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank, balance sheet, and payroll accounts

• Generate and import payroll integration files and reconcile to the general ledger

• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations

• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation

• Analyze financial variances and prepare reports for management review

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes

• Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls

• Support audit preparation and respond to inquiries from auditors and management
