**Hybrid 2-3 days in office - downtown Baltimore**
Key Job Duties:
- Originate and manage a variety of commercial loans including CRE, construction, working capital, and asset-based lending for small and mid-sized businesses.
- Independently analyze financial information, complete spreads, underwrite transactions, and present recommendations to the Business Loan Committee in accordance with policy and regulation.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives to retain existing clients and attract new lending relationships.
- Build and maintain a referral network of business professionals such as accountants and attorneys to drive new commercial lending opportunities.
- Cross-sell business banking products and services to maximize client value and deepen relationships
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in credit analysis or commercial lending; 5-8 years of business banking or credit union experience required.
- Completion of a formal credit training program strongly preferred.
- Proven experience underwriting complex commercial credit transactions with sound judgment.
- Strong and proven business development skills
