Our client in the Dallas area is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join their Accounting Team!
The Accounting Analyst will have experience in the following.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze daily fuel inventory and transactional data across multiple locations
- Reconcile activity by validating volumes, costs, and related financial data
- Research and resolve discrepancies, variances, and missing transactions
- Analyze cost trends and make appropriate adjustments based on data review
- Ensure timely resolution of inventory and reconciliation issues within the reporting period
- Monitor margins and key performance metrics to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Investigate fluctuations and identify root causes of financial variances
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
- 1-4 years of accountant experience
- Large ERP experience is a plus (SAP, PDI, etc.)
