Our client in the DFW area is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their Procurement Team!
The Senior Buyer will have experience in the following.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Process purchase requisitions and convert them to purchase orders for assigned regions
- Handle STAT and other special-order types with urgency and accuracy
- Review and correct improperly submitted requisitions
- Communicate with vendors to resolve issues and ensure order fulfillment
- Prevent aging of open purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up
