Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Employment Type: Contract to Hire or Permanent

Pay: $55,000-70,000, depending on experience and qualifications

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant here in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will oversee daily financial operations, A/P, A/R, and general ledger accounting management. The full-time position will be on-site here in Oklahoma City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile A/P and A/R accounts to keep financial records accurate and up to date.
• Record daily transactions with precision and timeliness.
• Manage job costing, track purchase orders, and monitor work orders to ensure project budgets and expenses are accurate.
• Review, approve, and process vendor invoices and payments efficiently.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly financial summaries.
• Maintain general ledger accounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
• Other accounting-related work duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting industry work experience.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, and Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
