Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Type: Full Time - Contract with potential long-term
Pay: $22.00 - 28.00/hour, depending on experience
Our client is looking for a strong and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support their accounting and finance operations here in Oklahoma City. The position will start off as temporary/contract, but there could be a possibility of permanent conversion. It will be a Monday-Friday work schedule.
Job Description and Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Manage accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R)
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare and review financial reports for management
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax and reporting requirements
- Support monthly and year-end closing activities
- Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (Excel), QuickBooks, and GAAP
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred, but not required
