Job Title: Commercial Lender - C&I and Commercial Real Estate (CRE)
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Employment Type: Temporary/Contract, with possibility of extension or conversion
Pay Range: $50.00-65.00/hour, depending on experience
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lender with a strong background in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending to join our client's growing team.
This role focuses on developing and managing relationships with middle-market and small-to-mid-size business clients, structuring credit solutions, and driving loan growth while maintaining strong credit quality. The ideal candidate brings a consultative approach, solid credit knowledge, and proven experience originating and managing C&I loan relationships.
This is an on-site position with a standard Mon-Fri, 8 am-5 pm work schedule. However, additional hours may be required, with potential hybrid capabilities pending.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of C&I and CRE commercial loan relationships.
- Originate new commercial business through referrals, prospecting, and networking.
- Structure and underwrite a variety of commercial credit facilities.
- Analyze borrower financials, cash flow, global debt service, and collateral.
- Prepare and present credit packages in accordance with lending policies.
- Partner with credit, underwriting, and loan operations teams throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Conduct annual reviews, renewals, and portfolio monitoring.
- Maintain strong compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk standards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and commercial clients.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of commercial lending experience, preferably in C&I and CRE. Proven experience managing commercial loan relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Working experience and knowledge in Commercial Loan Origination Systems, CRM systems, and other related Credit analysis and financial spreading software
