Our client in the Oklahoma City, OK metroplex is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting Department! The Senior Accountant will have experience in the following.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for managing day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, cash receipts/accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and payroll.
- Performing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that accounting schedules are updated, accurate, and done in a timely manner
- Monitoring cash and investment balances, and performing cash flow forecasting
- Serve as the primary contact for internal staff on invoicing, bill payments, cash receipts and revenue, and budgets
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in financial management and accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Proficient with financial management software (ex. Oracle, SAP, Sage, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field is required
- Masters degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field is a plus, but not required
- CPA certification is a plus
