Procurement Specialist - Boston, MA
Our client, a leading biotech company, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support purchasing operations, supplier management, and procurement strategies. This role will ensure smooth purchasing processes, resolve order issues, and contribute to cost-effective sourcing.
Responsibilities:
- Review purchase requisitions, validate pricing, and issue purchase orders.
- Manage supplier inquiries, onboarding, and procurement-related documentation.
- Track orders, follow up on deliveries, and resolve order discrepancies.
- Support sourcing strategies and identify alternative suppliers for critical materials.
- Assist with procurement system administration and provide user training.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and budget guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of procurement experience; biotech industry preferred.
